Transformation of the cultural status of things in the context of the context of the problem of personal identity

The article is devoted to the problem of personal identity in the modern world. identity is considered as the factor that helps a person to adapt himself to the conditions of the constantly changing world and not to lose his own ego. The author reveals the importance of consumed by a man thing for gaining the sense of stability. The author also proves the urgency of philosophical analysis of a thing as an ontological boundary between Ego and world which verifies the self-identity of a person, helps or a person s self-determination. she considers the peculiarities of a person s attitude to a thing on different stages of the cultural development; he finds the tendencies and social-cultural determinants of the attitude. The author proves that a thing as a measure of a person s subjectivity can be a base for a personal identification.
