Transformation of the entrepreneurial economic systems scientific mechanism of strategic planning: methodological aspects in the segment of small and medium enterprises

In the framework of this article, the authors attempted to develop a methodological apparatus for strategic planning of small and medium-sized enterprises, the activity of which is becoming increasingly important to ensure the progressive socio-economic development of the country and its regions in modern conditions of transformation of a market economy. To this goal, the article discusses issues devoted to: a brief assessment of the main trends in the development of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia and abroad in recent years; the prerequisites and the importance of implementing strategic planning by small and medium-sized enterprises; formalization and interpretation of the scientific mechanism of economic phenomena and processes; specific features of the transformation of the strategic planning mechanism using forecasting technology in the activities of entrepreneurial structures, and, in particular, small and medium-sized businesses.
