Transforming nonlegal customs into legal ones, and vice versa, as one of the peculiarities of the action mechanism of customary law rules used by Don Cossacks in the second half of the XIX century

The article deals with one of the issues of transforming nonlegal customs into legal ones, and vice versa, which is central for the present-day theory of legal customs. The author comes to the conclusion that there is a difference between nonlegal and legal customs as well as between folkloristic law and customary law.
