Transformation of entrepreneurship in the system of socialist economy

The article attempts to trace the processes of entrepreneurship transformation in the socialist economy. It is shown that establishment of the Soviet regime that considered entrepreneurship as the main political opponent, led to the almost complete destruction of it as an economic system. Since 1981 the political leadership has changed its attitude towards entrepreneurship; however, the measures taken have not been effective enough. The author believes it is necessary to find new approaches to the state regulation of the entrepreneurship at present.
