Transformation of agricultural trade in regions: adaptation to global trends

The article examines the processes of transformation of agricultural trade in the regions of Russia and other countries in the context of globalization. Key global trends such as digitalization, sustainable development and changing consumer preferences are analyzed, as well as their impact on regional agricultural markets. Special attention is paid to strategies for adapting agricultural enterprises to new challenges, including the introduction of innovative technologies, the development of export potential and the improvement of trade processes. The role of the state in regulating and supporting the agricultural sector, including subsidies and preferential programs, is considered. Based on data from the Federal State Statistics and Scientific Research Service, the dynamics of changes in agricultural trade in recent years has been revealed. The results highlight the need for flexibility and an innovative approach to enhance the competitiveness of regional markets in the face of global change. The conclusions note that comprehensive measures are needed for successful adaptation, including investments in technology, infrastructure improvements, and increased government support. Of particular importance is the flexibility of agricultural enterprises in responding to external challenges, which makes it possible to minimize risks and take advantage of new opportunities. It was found that the prospects for further research are related to the study of the impact of specific innovations on trade processes and the development of regional adaptation models.
