The article deals with the issue of the transformation of the means of the students' self-education in the digital age. There is conducted the comparative analysis of the educational tasks, identified in the Program of the Continuous Education of Children and Students of the Republic of Belarus, and the structure of the self-education activities. The author shows her own comprehension of the possible way of the problem's solution.
