Transformation of the fuel and energy complex of the countries of the Caspian region: prospects for the development of renewable energy

At the moment, the global fuel and energy complex (FEC) is at the stage of global transformation. This change is facilitated by the active development of the market for renewable energy sources (RES). Under these conditions, oil and gas countries are faced with a large number of challenges associated with decarbonization processes. For the countries of the Caspian region with huge reserves of hydrocarbon resources, this means the formation of a new paradigm for the development of the fuel and energy sector. Within the framework of the article, the main directions of the development of renewable energy sources in the countries of the Caspian region and the prospects for the implementation of projects in this industry are considered.
