Transformation of cross-border supply chains in the context of world trade facilitation

This research is dedicated to the modern trends in world trade and the role of cross-border supply chains in them. For this, current indicators of world trade (trade volumes, changes in them in different periods, etc.), modern trends and their practical expression are considered. Then, the role of cross-border supply chains, current state of logistic systems of different countries are studied. Modern methods of transformation of cross-border supply chains, which contribute to the continuation of liberalization and increase in the volume of world trade, are given. The methods pay attention to both the implementation of various standards and concepts in the process of cross-border movement of goods, and modern information technologies and their application in supply chains. As a result of the study, it was concluded that international supply chains do play an important role in the global economy today. The issue of their improvement with the adaptation of modern technologies should be on the agenda of states wishing to have the status of economically developed countries.
