Modern globalization processes are characterized by numerous participants influencing their movement and pace. Transnational corporations (TNCs) are one of the agents of economic, social and political changes as a result of globalization. These are large companies with a single global development strategy and striving to market dominance within several countries through the development of a network of branches and subsidiaries and relatively unrestricted equity investment. The paper analyzes the current approaches to the study of the role of TNCs in the globalization processes as well as shows how their activities contribute to the changes, including their interaction with other actors. The author notes that at the level of a particular state, the transnational corporation is an important political and economic actor that usually achieves its goals in an effective manner. However, at the global level, TNC is the agent operating in the existing field which needs to be successfully integrated into it. Using the resources available, transnational corporations are the driver of the globalization process.
