The role of transnational corporations in the global economy has evolved along with changes taking place in the global environment. At present, one can observe the transformation of classical, that functional and hierarchical structures of enterprises into network organizations with hybrid, globally distributed structures. The work is devoted to the processes of transnationalization of business carried out by transnational corporations (TNCs), that is, the creation of global business networks as an implementation of a competitive strategy adapted to the requirements of a knowledge-based economy.
