Transportation and logistics dimension of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the framework of the “One belt, one way” project

periods, interstate contacts not only took the form of peaceful interaction, but also had a tense, conflicting nature. At present, China’s cooperation with Russia has a significant impact both on the nature of the foreign policy activities of these states and on the situation in the international arena as a whole. The high importance of China’s relations with Russia at the present stage determines the relevance of studying the mutual cooperation of trade and economic relations between these states. This article is devoted to the analysis of the development of economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the PRC in the context of the implementation of the Chinese global project “One Belt, One. path”. It also analyzes the positions of both countries and the assessment of interaction, broadcast by the international expert community. Thus, the article concludes that in matters of trade and economic relations between China and Russia, it is possible to identify both positive and negative experience of interaction between these countries, which has developed over several centuries.
