Transport hubs of Moscow agglomeration. Current state and development prospects

Article describes the main advantages of transport hubs as objects of transport infrastructure, the current situation in the field of hub system development in Moscow, attention is paid to perspective projects which will appear in the capital of Russia in several years. Technical characteristics and indicators of work of new hub «Solnechnaya» are also given (opening in 2017), the results of the project on improvement of the historic centre of the city are also summed up (the organization of transport service at Tverskaya Zastava Square, Slavyanskaya Square). Further examples of three large projects of transport hubs («Rasskazovka», «Victory park», «Ryazanskaya») which will play an important role in the long term development of Moscow transport hub are given. In conclusion there is the transport hubs construction plan till 2020 according to the Resolution of the government of Moscow № 413-ПП «About transport hubs construction in Moscow».
