The travelogue and its place in modern journalism

The article is devoted to the problem of conceptualization of travelogue as a special narrative form, which is a story about trip considered in substantial, pragmatic and stylistic aspects. Currently the travelogue takes the form of a story, calibrated according to the laws of marketing. The study of the travelogue in terms of different scientific and disciplinary perspectives especially relevant today.
