The injuries of the epiphyseal growth cartilage of the distal leg and their treatment by transosseous osteosynthesis technique

The work deals with 30-year experience of treatment of patients with the injuries of the distal epiphyseal growth cartilage of leg bones in the traumatological clinic of RISC "RTO". The problem of treatment of epiphyseal injuries of long tubular bones in children is demonstrated to be an urgent one. The main pronciples and peculiarities of treatment of such patients using transosseous osteosynthesis technique are disclosed. Based on the results achieved the authors come to the conclusion of high effectiveness of the technique used.
