On the question of geological data need to conform to normal (Gaussian) distrubution for statistical analysis

This research focuses on the effectiveness of the parametric criteria for statistical hypothesis verification when random values deviate from normal distribution, which happens often in geology. According to the research, the negative impact of this deviation on the hypothesis verification results is unreasonably exaggerated. Guidelines are given on how to use computer modelling for statistical hypotheses verification.
