Trends, features and problems of development of metallurgical production in the Russian Federation

One of the dominant industries in the national economy is the metallurgical industry. Accordingly, the formation of budget revenues of the Russian Federation depends on its development. Accordingly, this industry attracts increased attention from public authorities, business and science. The development of metallurgical production in the national economy is the foundation for increasing the level of competitiveness of domestic products and their implementation on the world market, respectively, and the overall socio-economic situation in the state. This article provides an overview of the development of metallurgical production in the Russian Federation and highlights the problems in the industry that require a systematic approach to solve them.
