The trends in the legal sphere of the Russian society in the context of modern transformations

The article analyses the trends in the legal sphere of the Russian society in the context of modern transformations, in particular, protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens both from internal and external threats, as well as establishment of legal and generally accepted methods and forms of meeting the needs. The author notes that the dominance of these two trends is determined by not so much the political will of the Russian leaders, as the internal needs of the Russian society.
