Trash Streaming as a Phenomenon of Negative Deviation on the Internet: a Legal and Sociological Aspect

The article analyzes the problem and social danger of trash streaming as a phenomenon of negative deviation on the Internet and its criminological, psychological and social consequences. The modern legal framework in the field of countering the spread of this type of crime in the information environment is also considered. Literature review: the theoretical basis of the research was the works of scientists who devoted their scientific works to the phenomenon of trash content as a form of negative deviation in the information space: M.D. Bolycheva, M.A. Miroshnik, E.O. Abramovich, A.P. Filchenko, K.M. Bogatyrev, etc. Materials and Methods: the methodological basis of the research is represented by a set of general scientific and special methods of scientific cognition, including dialectical, system-structural, logical, generalization, comparison, etc. methods. The research materials were the norms of current Russian legislation and scientific publications. Results: the article considers streaming as a special type of Internet broadcasting, its social, criminological aspects; analyzes one of its types – trash streaming, the typology of which includes such categories as alcohol, violence, sex streaming, everyday trash; highlights the factors of streaming popularity, as well as a key factor spreading extreme practices in trash streams is the financial motivation of the organizers; The new criminal law norms are analyzed from the perspective of describing the actions of organizers of online broadcasts of violence as a qualifying feature and aggravating circumstance - public dissemination - in the commission of crimes; gaps in their design are identified, their main advantages and disadvantages are identified. Discussion and Conclusions: the authors note the enormous negative impact on the viewer, regardless of age characteristics, of every antisocial content broadcast on the Internet. In this regard, it is considered necessary to conduct scientific, social or cultural research on each aspect of streaming, which will make it possible to combat and counteract the negative effects of Internet broadcasts much more effectively, as well as enable the relevant services to carry out preventive psychological and pedagogical actions and punitive measures.
