Anxiety and depression in patients recovering after SARS-COV-2

COVID-19 causes mostly diseases of respiration, but this infection could have multisystemic manifestations and different degree of severity. This study was conducted at the University Hospital (BSMU-Hosp) of Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa, Russia) in 2021-2022. We examined in-patients after severe pneumonia associated with SARS-CoV-2. All of them were admitted to the department of medical rehabilitation at BSMU-Hosp. We used Hospital Anxiety and depression scale (HADS) in 55 patients aged 42-80, 40 women and 15 men.
