Three-part compositions with deer and tree of life

The authors analyze the cult object of the early Iron Age, accidentally found in the village Mostovsky, Krasnodar Territory, and consisting of an iron plate with a composition of bronze figures - deer - male and female, and two spectacle-shaped double spirals, reflecting the image of the universe, the ancient "picture of the world", with the tree of life, the world tree in the center of it, which structured and connected the universe , and deities in the form of deer, personifying cosmic forces and givers of earthly blessings in the views of the inhabitants of the northwestern foothills of the North Caucasus.
