Labour disadaptation in patients with panic disorder

Aim of this research was to study social dysadaptation in patients with panic disorder(140 patients) and panic disorder comorbid with alcohol dependence(104 patients). We investigated that panic disorder leads to social and labour dysadaptation. Big part of patients lost work or worked with lowering of qualification. But patients with these disorders rare had been registered as disabled persons. Patients with panic disorder comorbid with alcoholism, degree of labour dysadaptation was higher. In catamnesis (one year after treatment) we observed improvement of social and labour adaptation in both groups of patients.
