Labour immigration to Russia: the scale, issues and regulatory experience

The author studies the relevant statistics in the field of external labour migration in Russia. The mechanisms of attracting labor migrants and the legal framework are described. The effectiveness of the application of recent years of innovations in the field of regulation of external labor migration is assessed. The features of the legal status in Russia are considered. The presence of existing legislation in this area and the problems arising from this are noted.
