The article discusses the problems of introducing labour compliance as a system of measures to ensure the conformity of the activities of the employer and other subjects of labour law to the current labour legislation and other laws and regulations providing legal labour standards in order to prevent violations of labour rights. The labour compliance system being under review includes the mechanisms of internal labour control (mandatory and voluntary). As a result of the analysis, the author concludes that mandatory internal labour control is generally carried out by a separate structural unit of the employer based on laws and regulations. At the same time, the employer can create the system of voluntary internal labour control independently and reinforce its legal status in a collective agreement, bylaws. The elements of voluntary internal labour control are developed by the Federal Service for Labour and Employment (Rostrud) and posted on the website “onlineinspektsiya.rf”.
