Tubular gastric adenoma: submucosa echostructure

Бесплатный доступ

A total of 295 patients with various types of diffuse gastritis and hypertrophic gastropathies including chronic erosions were examined. Endoscopic ultrasonography of the stomach was performed using miniature radial-scan type ultrasound probes (MN-2R/ MN-3R) with a scanning frequency of 12/20 MHz. Beads-shaped enlargements were found to be caused by the presence of cystic-enlarged glands localized in gastric submucosa. Phenomenon of «beads» was detected only in cases of morphologically confirmed tubular gastric adenomas. Improvement of diagnostic methods of endoscopic and ultrasound semiotics of gastric wall changes will promote to more adequate selection of treatment modalities.
