Tourist complex as element of economy of the Sakhalin region

Tourism in the Sakhalin region is one of the developing and promising sectors of the regional economy, which is considered an integral part of the social infrastructure. The attractiveness of the area for visiting it by tourists is determined by the availability of tourist resources - natural, historical, social and cultural objects, which the area has in full. However, in spite of the high rate of development of tourism in the region, there are factors that can halt active tourist activity in the region. The article presents an analysis of the tourist complex of the Sakhalin region as an element of the regional economy.
