This article examines promising directions for creating a competitive tourist product of the Republic of Crimea. A competitive tourism product is created in the process of purposeful, systematic and long-term work of all travel agents. In the Republic of Crimea, there are objective opportunities for its creation, namely: transport infrastructure, natural, cultural, historical, socio-demographic factors of regional development. The article analyzes the possibilities for the development of the existing directions of tourism and outlines the directions for the formation of new, priority directions at the present stage of the socio-economic development of the region.
