The article presents scientific approaches to the study of the tourist and recreational potential of the regions. Information is also provided on the tourist and recreational potential of the regions of Uzbekistan, identifying promising areas for the development of tourism in them, the existing historical and cultural potential of the regions, cultural, historical, archaeological, architectural sites, material and cultural tourism potential and other tourist information.
