In the article the author considers sights of domestic researchers on a problem of genesis of tourism as social and cultural phenomenon of social being. The phenomenon of tourism is the active factor enculturation and acculturations of people of any age, any nationality, any professional accessory that deduces tourism in one of effective forms of cognitive activity of the person.
