The creative activity of Russian soviet composers in the national republics of the USSR is the unique phenomenon of the world musical culture. It also had the great influence on the processes of creation the European type of musical professionalism in Buryatia. The aim of the article is to define the features of common and different in creative activity of P. Berlinski, V. Moroshkin, M. Frolov, S. Riauzov, L. Knipper, B. Maizel in Buryatia. The author criticizes the opinion about the introductory character of their activity towards the music of national composers, and distinguishes three types of attitude to the republic culture.
