The writings of Yevgeny Trubetskoy as a final manifesto of classical pholosophic idealism in the Russian tradition of religious philosophy

In this article, the author considers the main stages in the literary career of the renowned Russian religious philosopher Yevgeny Trubetskoy, the last significant representative of classical idealism in Russian philosophy. Te author considers the philosophers and religious thinkers who influenced his world view and lists Trubetskoy’s main works, including books and significant articles and public lectures. Te author gives a brief characterization of the main works that express the formulation of Trubetskoy’s world view. His literary works are considered not only from the point of view of their significance in the author’s life, but also in the context of the various events in Russian scholarly and cultural life at the turn of the 20th century. In particular, the author points out the discussions that took place between Trubetskoy and some of his predecessors and contemporaries in philosophy.
