The band Therion as a creative origin in modern musical culture

In the article the band Therion is considered. It analyzed the meaning of the band for symphonic metal. A brief description of the subject matter of the lyrics is given. Special attention is paid to the originality and uniqueness of the group. On the basis of this study, the author emphasizes that the band Therion is currently a unique phenomenon that combines mythological subjects in the lyrics and an experimental component in the musical accompaniment.
