The article is devoted to Nikolay M. Stuckenberg, an ocean-going ship captain, a landscape painter, the most important seascape painter of the Russian Far East of 1913-1937. It deals with the vast collection of his graphic works and paintings kept in the Primorye Art Gallery, which enables one to trace the stages of the development of his talent.
