Participation of International Students in Scholarship and Competitions (a Case Study of Far Eastern Federal University)

The article investigates the experience of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) regarding the participation of international students in scholarship programs and competitions. The authors note that international students are eligible to receive government and named scholarships, including those awarded for extracurricular achievements. At the same time, it can be said that the practice of comfortably integrating students coming from abroad into scholarship programs and competitions offered by both the government and the educational institution has not yet been fully established. The study identified the main difficulties faced by international students at FEFU when applying for various scholarships, as well as the benefits they gain from participating in scholarship programs and competitions.
