Participation of the Kalmyks in the wars of Russia in 1725-1771

This article examines the participation of the Kalmyk people in the wars of Russia in the period 1725-1771. The Kalmyk troops provided significant assistance and support to the Russian troops during the period of hostilities. Kalmyk warriors were distinguished by endurance, bravery, excellent command of weapons and horseback riding.
