Participation of the Krasnodar territory in restoration of Tashkent after the earthquake in 1966

The article is concerned with the aid the Krasnodar Territory rendered to restoration of the Uzbekistan’s capital, destroyed by the earthquake in 1966. Basing upon the archival records, eyewitnesses’ memories and publications in periodicals the author tells about Kuban citizens participated in Tashkent restoration, fund raising for the damaged city, and recreation of Tashkent citizens at the Kuban region. It is emphasized that Krasnodar Territory residents were encouraging Uzbek people during the natural catastrophe.
