The author examines the particular novations as civil transaction, which consists in replacing the original obligation with another obligation. Using specific examples, shows the possibility of wider application of innovations in notarial practice. Concludes that the merits of this type of transaction, since in the commission of the parties can avoid including additional material costs, bypassing the termination of the original transaction. Recommends to strengthen the application of innovation in notarial practice.
