The participation of students from the Kostroma and Yaroslavl regions in the framework of the campaign for the development of virgin and fallow lands of the Kazakh SSR (1954-1965 yrs.)

In the postwar years, students from various regions of the Soviet Union and particularly Cen tral Russia, took an active part in the recovery of the agricultural sector. The article describes the main stages of development of virgin and fallow lands of the Kazakh SSR students of higher and secondary special educational institutions of the Kostroma and Yaroslavl regions. Outlines the key features of each period. Conducted the counting of volunteers who participated in the devel opment of virgin lands.
