Educational methodical support of the general physics course as a means of vocational training of future engineers

The article analyzes the qualities of future engineers necessary for successful professional activity. The author defines the basic general professional competences, justifies the necessity of the students' fundamental training reinforcement by means of modern educational methodological support in order to create the foundations of the professional competency. The paper formulates the requirements to innovative educational methodological support, on the basis of which the structure and content of the educational tools complex for the course of general physics have been developed.
