Rousseau's theory of values and his political views

The article deals with the development of the original theory of values in Rousseau's works (the ideas of "order" and " the good"). The relations to the ideas of philosophers of the Enlightenment and the apologists of Christianity are analyzed and the role of the values theory in the political theory of the thinker is indicated. The author of the article underlines that the interpretation of these ideas by J.-J. Rousseau was deeply influenced by the dialogue with Malebranche and critical attitude towards thoughts of philosophers of the Enlightenment.
