Specific activity of radioisotopes of rocks and ores of the Albyn gold deposit (Amure region)

For the first time, data on the activity of beta-emitting isotopes 40K, 137Cs and gamma-emitting isotopes 40K, 137Cs, 222Rn, 224Ra, 226Ra, 228Ra, 232Th and 228Th in shales and ores of the Albyn deposit in the Amur region was obtained. It has been shown that the average specific activity of beta- and gamma-emitting light isotopes 40K and 137Cs in host shales is higher than in ores. In turn, the specific activities of heavy isotopes 222Rn, 224Ra, 226Ra, 228Ra, 232Th and 228Th are higher in ore metasomatites. A positive correlation has not been established between gold and the activity of isotopes of radioactive elements in ore metasomatites.
