Satisfaction with the quality of transport infrastructure as a social well-being indicator of the citizens of the city of Khabarovsk

Based on sociological survey data of 2013 and 2015, as well as transcripts of focus groups of 2016 the article determines the level of satisfaction of Khabarovsk citizens with the quality of pavement and transport service. The paper shows that the satisfaction of the citizens with the quality of transport infrastructure is one of the most important indicators of population’s social well-being. The article defines the main reasons for low estimation of the quality of transport infrastructure by population (the high cost of travel, the unprofessional behaviour of conductors and drivers, the heavy workload of public transport during rush hour, etc.).
