The article deals with features of life satisfaction and its main aspects in accordance with gender and age of people. It also compares some ways of responding to the success and failures of others, peculiar to men and women, and to people of different ages. The author describes invariant and variable correlations between the life satisfaction and the ways of responding to the success and failures of the other person.
