Problem and purpose. The article presents a review of theoretical positions and studies devoted to the problem of life satisfaction. Satisfaction with life is seen as an internal criterion for the adolescent’s adaptedness. There is a lack of studies of the phenomenon of adolescents’ satisfaction with life depending on different levels of psychological sovereignty: traumatized, deprived, with the level of normal sovereignty and super independent adolescents. The purpose of the article is to identify and characterize the features of life satisfaction, depending on gender and the level of the teenager’s psychological sovereignty. The methodologyof the research is the concept of sovereignty of S.K. Nartova-Bochaver, scientific works of N.N. Mel’nikova on the problem of socio-psychological adaptation, L.V. Kulikova on the problem of life satisfaction, as well as the analysis and synthesis of research works of foreign and domestic scientists on the problems of psychological sovereignty of the individual and satisfaction with life in the context of adaptation. The study involved 190 adolescents, 95 boys and 95 girls, aged 14-15 years, attending schools in Krasnoyarsk. For the diagnosis of psychological sovereignty, the questionnaire “Sovereignty of psychological space - 2010” of Nartova-Bochaver was used; for the diagnosis of satisfaction with life the questionnaire “Satisfaction with Life” of N.N. Melnikova was used. Results. The study showed that the majority of adolescents (52.1%) have a level of satisfaction with life be-low the average level for almost all factors. The analysis of the averages and the calculation of the Mann-Whitney U test showed that girls and boys with super-sovereignty with normal sovereignty are more satisfied with their lives than their peers with normal sovereignty. Thus, normal sovereignty does not provide sufficient satisfaction with life, while super-sovereignty allows one to experience the feeling of adulthood, self-governing of one’s own life, and evaluate the quality of interaction “I am Life” as satisfactory. Deprived teenagers are satisfied with life at a level “below average”, while girls are concerned about the future, and boys are less inclined to life. Reliable differences in the overall satisfaction index between girls with traumatized and deprived sovereignty are recorded; the latter assess the quality of interaction with life below the average level. Сonclusion. It is concluded that in adolescence, super-sovereignty can be considered one of the factors affecting positive satisfaction with life. The key to prosperity in life satisfaction for adolescents is independence, sovereignty, autonomy, self-control in the habits of both boys and girls, for girls the sovereignty of personal things is very important, while boys find complete controllability of their social environment and sovereignty of values important.
