Carbon footprint: international and Russian experience in reduction

This article discusses the concept of «carbon footprint» and greenhouse gases, which are considered when measuring it, and studied the leading countries in terms of total greenhouse gas emissions and per capita. The experience of the governments of the Russian Federation and other countries in reducing the carbon footprint is also analyzed. Examples of big Russian and foreign companies that reduce their emissions are considered.
