Hydrocarbons in soils of Barguzin basin

The article studies indicators of the hydrocarbon complex of soils of Barguzin Basin in areas with different intensity of fluidodynamic processes. We have obtained data on the content of hydrocarbons, bitumoids, as well as individual polycyclic aromatic compounds. The results show that uneven accumulation of organic carbon, high levels of bitumoid coefficient, significant concentrations of hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic compounds and their diverse composition are characteristic of soils in the hydrothermal unloading zone, which is a sign of high intensity of endogenous processes. The bituminous coefficient, concentration and individual spectrum of PAH are the most informative indicators of endogenous activity.
