The coal industry of the Soviet Far East during the reconstruction period, 1922-1928

The article is devoted to the development of the coal industry in the Soviet Far east during the 1920s. The author identifies the conditions and features of the functioning of coal enterprises during the period of economic reconstruction. it is concluded that, despite the difficulties that were relevant for the coal industry of the Soviet Far east from 1922 to 1928, the regional authorities managed to carry out a complete transition of coal mining to the public sector, resolve the most acute problems and thus lay the foundation for the further growth of the coal industry in the region.
