Criminal proceedings and criminalistics: interaction, convergence, alienation under the reform of the RF Criminal Procedure Code and scientific standards modernization

Objective factors in the domestic legal reality are the development of the criminal process and criminology sciences. With the participation of academics and legal practitioners representing the interests of criminal justice and criminology, the reforms in the criminal justice field are carried out, criminal procedure law is optimized, officials and bodies conducting proceedings in criminal cases are armed with effective tools and methods of investigation and trial. Having arisen in borders of criminal procedure and then having separated from it, the Criminalistics has not lost "vital bonds" with a criminal trial. On the contrary, criminal procedure activities, certain procedural forensic institutions have been filled with Criminalistics content as a result of successful interaction of these sciences.
