Threats and problems of Russia's economic security in the context of international sanctions

This paper examines the features of the prevailing macroeconomic conditions in Russia, and how they affect the conduct of economic activity in the country. The problems of Russia's economic security in the context of international sanctions are highlighted. The main positive and negative sides of the use of sanctions policy tools are considered. The consequences of the introduction of economic sanctions against Russia are analyzed, and assumptions are also made that will help overcome the current problem.
