Reinforcement of the law and order as a way of combating organized crime in the Russian Federation

The article addresses the issue of law and order in the modern society. The author considers the causes of the failure of the state to control adequately the organized crime, among which there are: instability of society, legal nihilism, low crime detection, corruption, and so on. The paper notes the shortcomings in the work of media, through which the leaders of criminal groups have informational impact on citizens. The author considers that the consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by youth is an urgent problem that needs immediate response, and therefore proposes adoption of the federal law on compulsory medical care of drug addicts.
