Ultramaflc rocks of Muslyumovsky massif, north-east of the Southern Urals

Бесплатный доступ

The composition and arrangement of the rocks from Muslyumovsky ultramafic massif is analyzed. Based on a number of attributes the massif is correlated with the restites of the ophiolite assemblage. The ultramafic rocks are characterized by subchondritic quantities of rare-earth elements but at the same time they contain high-Cr accesory spinels. Chromites occurrences are classified as poorly disseminated (low-graded), the ores consist of the high-Cr spinels.
